Thirteen for Thursday

I have a friend, who will remain nameless, who told her husband that all she needed for Mother's Day was a heartfelt card. Turns out, her husband took her at her word. Silly man. She later said, "Didn't he know that I was just saying that to seem noble?" Well, I make no pretense at nobility. I've been wanting something for quite a while and have been hinting at it for just as long. Luckily, my husband took the hints and got me what I'd had my eye on.

A new and improved camera.

It's not a DSLR, mainly because I don't think Cory knows the difference, but it does take pictures immediately upon pressing the button. And, with children, this is a HUGE improvement. So, while I'm still planning to take a class to learn all the ins and outs of what my new camera can do, I've had fun playing. So, for your viewing pleasure (or your annoyance), thirteen pictures for you on this Thursday.

One more thing. I really think the world is missing out on a great marketing opportunity. I know there are a lot of moms and women who are getting into nicer cameras. However, there are NO cute camera bags out there!  There are cute ones for the tiny point-and-shoot cameras, but for the bigger cameras? They are all the boring, black, standard bags. I actually did find a couple cute ones, but they were like $180. Not gonna happen. Anyway, just sending that message out into the ether. Cute bigger camera bags. For less than an arm and a leg.
